Welcome to Repair Ready Kenya. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and the appliance repair and installation services we provide. By accessing our website or booking our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Services Provided

Repair Ready Kenya provides professional appliance repair, maintenance, and installation services for home and commercial appliances including but not limited to refrigerators, washing machines, cookers, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, TVs, and air conditioners.

Our services are available across Nairobi County, Kiambu County, Machakos County, and surrounding areas as specified on our website. Service availability may vary based on technician scheduling and location accessibility.

2. Booking and Appointments

2.1 Booking Methods: Customers may book our services via our website contact form, telephone at 0707 790 099, email at info@repairready.co.ke, or WhatsApp.

2.2 Confirmation: All bookings are confirmed via email and SMS within 24 hours of submission. A technician will contact you to confirm the appointment window.

2.3 Cancellations: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment free of charge with at least 2 hours' notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee of KSh 500.

2.4 Same-Day Service: Same-day service is available for bookings made before 2 PM Monday through Friday. Availability is subject to technician schedules and cannot be guaranteed.

3. Pricing and Payment

3.1 Diagnostic Fee: A diagnostic fee of KSh 1,000–2,000 applies for repair assessments. This fee is waived completely if you proceed with the repair.

3.2 Quotations: All quotes provided are estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing will be confirmed by the technician on-site after a physical inspection of the appliance.

3.3 Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Cash, M-PESA, and Visa/Mastercard credit/debit cards. Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.4 Price Changes: Repair Ready Kenya reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. You will be notified of any price changes before work commences.

4. Warranty

4.1 Workmanship Warranty: Repair Ready Kenya provides a 3-month warranty on all repair workmanship from the date of service completion. If the same fault recurs within this period due to our workmanship, we will return and rectify the issue at no additional cost.

4.2 Parts Warranty: Genuine spare parts installed by our technicians carry the manufacturer's warranty, which varies by part type and brand (typically 3–12 months).

4.3 Warranty Exclusions: Our warranty does not cover:

• Damage caused by misuse, accidents, or neglect
• Unauthorised repairs or modifications by third parties
• Normal wear and tear or cosmetic damage
• Appliances that have been tampered with after our service
• Issues arising from power surges, floods, fires, or other external events

4.4 Warranty Claim Process: To make a warranty claim, contact us at 0707 790 099 or info@repairready.co.ke with your job number and a description of the issue. We will schedule a return visit at no charge within 7 business days.

5. Customer Responsibilities

As a customer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your appliance and the fault when booking
• Ensure safe and unobstructed access to the appliance for our technician
• Disconnect the appliance from power and water sources before our technician arrives (where safe to do so)
• Secure any pets or hazards that may affect our technician's safety
• Notify us immediately if you need to cancel or reschedule
• Pay all fees promptly upon completion of services

6. Liability

6.1 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Repair Ready Kenya shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill.

6.2 Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

6.3 Property Damage: While our technicians take every care, Repair Ready Kenya is not responsible for pre-existing damage to your appliance or property. We recommend documenting your appliance's condition before our service.

6.4 Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, strikes, labour disputes, government actions, or transportation issues.

7. Website Use

7.1 Intellectual Property: All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and graphics, is the property of Repair Ready Kenya and protected by Kenyan and international copyright laws.

7.2 Accuracy of Information: While we strive to keep our website information accurate and up-to-date, we do not warrant the completeness, reliability, or accuracy of any information on our site.

7.3 Third-Party Links: Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of these external sites.

8. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also governed by our Privacy & Cookies Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in that policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

Repair Ready Kenya reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
